In a world plagued by corrupted empires and dystopian livelihood, a new island had been auctioned to a multi-millionaire, of which erupted into a gladiatorial feast of violence for those who wished to see those of power now turned into prisoners pit to their deaths in coliseum sized killing games, ran under the vengeful ruling of Madden Rotom of rotom corp. shepherding the operation is his son, Xavier Rotom, who became a figurehead piece for the world to look onward to in these killing games, to look out for the people who had been made to believe their lives were important.
Valanose
This once thriving nation descended to its knees when the elite powers above sought for selfish gain and lies. Infrastructures were built on the primordial technological advancements and created a rich and mighty world of cybernetic reality, of which had been neglected and hidden behind obsessive sciences that masked the people of its lies. More neglect had come, and as such the people grew restless, tired, and angry. Violent acts of protest were outlawed and deemed a criminal offence to all, who would be put to their deaths one by one, thus the people had no choice but to remain silent, manipulated by the governments sponsored figureheads themselves, the influencers of the world who had already turned vile for their own capital, but were always saved by their sponsorship.
nostradore
An island just off the coast of Nostradore was put onto auction, of which Madden Rotom secured the highest bidding. No law, no life, no ruling. This would be perfect for Madden to begin his ultimate plan. The years turned crueler and crueler, but progress was being made on building entire civilisations from underneath the ground, to one day be finally completed. Madden would hit the switch that rose this island from the ground as it filled the air with machine fog, ripping through the soil of this once peaceful and baron island. He would enrol his family into captaining the killing games, and create border laws to designate people into four different factions, of which will have their own sets of rules. All that was left was to commercialise themselves and capture volunteers. A marketed campaign was made to enlist people into the islands new ruling, promising prosperity and an independent party that sought to thwart the corruption that plagued the nation.
ncpd
The delegation of their peoples was not an easy task, and needed careful proceedings. The nostradore Customs Protection District (NCPD) was created as a border patrol for nostradore. Of those who enter will be tested of their integrity in a line of questioning, and upon completion will be appropriated and sorted into their given factions. Either they were spared, tested, imprisoned, or at the very worst killed.
The ncpd comprises of many uniquely delegated operations which include interrogation, prisoner security, execution principals, duty wardens, deliverance warehouses and offshore aire units. so long as there’s an operation, the NCPD is what you will know.
Advocates are the ones who roam the Coliseum’s crowds watching on in the blood bath killing games. These are the people who had succumb to the apocalypse when taking the land for themselves. This is a faction of people who either comply to a cause unknown to them, or actively campaign for championing the sport of killing the rich and famous / people of power.
the NCPD looks to build on these nostradorians growing numbers in hopes to bring to life a refresh that could never be done by their previous nationality in valanose. what is promised is civilisation, respect, boundless will and freeing rights that don’t fall on one another, a truly synchronised society all wanting the same goal. this is however what rotom corp wants you to think, as many a secret is being kept vaulted.

mclaren rotom
Mclaren Rotom is the Advocate brother among the siblings. He is a charmer, a rather charismatic showman that helps to bring a spruced layer of hyper excitement into the new islands bolstered civilians, all in a constant and vicious search for justice against the evils that plagued their times. He is a rather excitable spirit with a tinge of charm. Among his siblings he can be seen with a rather boisterous energy and a passive sarcasm that brings with it an area of banter. He understands emotions very well among his siblings and can accommodate for these very well, however after the traumatic event he and his siblings had endured, he can't help but travel down rickety spirals into an unbridled madness that gets projected outwards. However this is normally tamed rather quickly, and thus his show must go on. duty bound to the new nostradorian advocates to serve, to respect, and to entertain, he is the most performative of the siblings.
mclaren and heather share the same similar tragic tale involving a forest fire that killed their brother Bolvadeer. this strengthened their bonds as they were adopted into the rotom family and ready to serve their new father and his growing empire, knowing their brother would perish no more.
playmates
The ungrateful conglomerates with influential power, often used for selfish gains and fake presence. Becoming accustomed to the game of life and survival, a game they had no capable knowledge of handling, and often times resulted in behaviour that either was ignorantly positioned, or willingly aggressed.
criminals don’t like paper trails, and the ncpd is very vigerous about it’s scraping abilities. most valanosians will have a track record tracable from their country’s own databanks and surveillance. the ncpd knows when a subject is lying, sometimes questioning is done for the fun of it when rotom corp knows all.

glitzy rotom
Glitzy Rotom is the youngest sibling of the Rotom Corp foundation. They are known to be the feistiest, an enraged egomaniac with an incredibly narcissistic trait that's almost too attractive to object to. They have a very iconic glow to their aura, but step on the wrong feet and they can slice you up faster than you can blink. Among their siblings they aren't quite as snappy, if not for the traumatic events that occurred when younger between the siblings, they may not have as big a filter. They often times have to reel in their short fused temper around them, but as for those who will be captained and championed by them (Playmates), they do not get the same organic treatment. It will take a will and heart of steel to withstand their trials and reach their heart.
Glitzy is the only non blood related member of the family as she had gone rogue since young. She had become a prime candidate for criminal mobs during volatigital, and chose to spend her days rebuilding on her own independence. curiosity in a mall peaked her interest so much they were arrested. with great escape tactics they would land themselves observing as they would find bolvadeer in rubble and mclaren and heather watching at the sight. Punk like attitudes aside, they pledge an oath to rotom corp and their siblings to pay back their debts.
lost subjects
There is no clear conclusion with the likes of the moderately unplaced. Ducking between indecisiveness and fear of non inclusion, they are uncertain about their place in life. A life that can easily be persuaded. Likely not useful for the cause, these are subjects that are routinely placed in confinement chambers ready to be tested on for new games down the line. for better or worse, they are positioned regardless.
NCPD doesn’t always get it right the first time, but as an extra measure for them to have a clearer track record, they place lost subjects in testing facilities when more introspective interrogation is needed. criminals might have been known in the wrong place or the wrong time, or spies might have been out of duty for years, a lot can change a Valanosians mind. However such confusing matters need solidifying and drawn into a straight line. whether they come out as any of the other alignments is all to be seen, but it is also said some don’t even know themselves enough to belong to any, and there are far different things for them to worry about when that is decided.

heather rotom
While being a slightly older sibling than the previous two, Heather Rotom is a rather clueless individual to most. On the contrary, Heather has never been more clued into the world than ever before, which can be her best tool, or a huge detriment to her well being. She seeks to understand the philosophy of their chosen factions test subjects (lost subjects), and is deemed the unthinkable curator. As a result of becoming so lodged into philosophy, she developed an area of self awareness far too powerful for any normal individual. She can become uncontrollable in her fits of anxiety, and projects out an entirely large and destructive tirade. Is it on herself, or someone else? That was always a gamble. Normally it is up to the eldest brother Xavier to keep an eye on her before she becomes uncontrollable again. Much is said about the ability to look deep within entire peoples souls, and learning to live with it. after the great tragedy that beheld at a spa retreat in the middle of a localised forest, she would wake up to find bolvadeer was trapped and killed under stone, rocks and trees. Perhaps he was looking to find them and suffered by accident maybe? she still feels to this day that she was the one who killed her own brother.
often times for these and many more reasons, she is the more reclused individual out of them all, spending many days interrogating lost subjects through countless days. there’s no straight and predictabble encounter with heather, one day she could be empathetic and warm natured, the next a spit fire to the mind, and on such occurrances you find her with a knife wielded, you better hope that’s not for you.
Government power still exists despite being outlawed by the apocalypse, and there are several means to take down the killing games and put a stop to the global ruling, putting in place regulations and taking control once again. It is unclear if their intentions are to learn from their past to make a better government, or to bring back what they considered was normal for them through ignorant means, the system itself is divided. That’s where spies come in.
when the ncpd was founded it had brought with it deals from valanosian government facilities, bought and shared in an original contractual agreement that would otherwise be betrayed once the island closed in. valanosian governments only had a few remains of nostradore’s intel and was quickly swiped and datamined with viruses created by mysterious technological cultists in robes of an unknown name to all. this not only wiped their archived knowledge of nostradore and the ncpd, but part of their own history were never to be seen again. this has since become the single most efficient and intelligent tool the ncpd and rotom corp would have to interrogate spies willing to steal this information back.

bolvadeer rotom
Bolvadeer is laced with hybrid machinery. Since the great tragedy that beheld the siblings and Bolvadeer being at the forefront of death before his very eyes after searching too far into the black market of Valanose and uncovering compromising secrets that would locate him and kill him, the siblings would be found by Madden Rotom, and revived Bolvadeer before he could bleed out. However he is no longer fully himself. His personality (while still forever present) has changed within. He now harnesses the artificially intelligent assistant in his core, CappenNoirAI, an incignito spy module created by religious priests heralding technology as their saviour, this module traces public data logs and captures protective identities, leaving only an archive of data at his disposal. He is a rather stoic character, very reminiscent of old Noir films. Perhaps the most consistent in nature compared to the other siblings, he is a resource for contingency. Every now and then his main personality bleeds through his core and recalls his memories flashing before his own LED eyes. He often destabilises, which in turn can present a flurry of private information leaked into the world upon accident, given he is attached to the databanks of Nostrodore. Otherwise a stand out champion of providing AI with a means for good, unbeknownst to him what his data collection might be used for.
Upon being revived, Madden posed a deal with the fibre legion to revive his body with a hybrid series of endo robotic parts, making him half human and half automaton.
rotom corp
founded by madden rotom, father to the rotom family name, this entity would be the face everybody would remember, the head capital empire of nostradore that rules across its islands with state of the art technological advancements and simple rules to follow for all.
the company was founded as a manipulative chess move when the previously unlawed island went up for auction by valanosian insiders as a means to write off land that wasn’t theirs. madden would meet with several executives and government officials, including a strange technological cult named [redacted], otherwise known as the fibre legion. their promise was to provide the rotom family with the most state of the art technology to power their land, their resources, and their coliseum. every single thing you know on nostradore is part of a coalition between rotom corp and the fibre legion.
Shepard to the killing games and first son to Madden Rotom, Xavier spent his entire life under the wing of rotom corp. After a tragic event that left him scarred during the prime beginning of Volagitial. his father sought to use them all as front men for his new islands killing games on nostradore. Since then, Xavier has been entrusted as the next in line to take over Madden, slowly being manipulated into the companies own ruling.
Xavier is the eldest of all the siblings, and not blood connected since the siblings were instead adopted into the nostradorian empire. Constantly blurring the line between protection of his siblings and the protection of his company, his moral compass is oddly compromised at any given notice, playing on his people pleasing abilities. All he knows is the audience wants what it wants, and needs become demands quite often in his life. Between his father wanting full totalitarian control and a tough back bone, his siblings wanting respect and nurturing, and the advocates to the killing games wanting a show. The only thing Xavier knows for sure is there are playmates that need to pay for the many crimes they committed, the people want a showman touch to the killing games, the siblings want to be loved, and the father wants a servant. All of this bludgeoning his path throughout his life.

a company needs a prophet, and the bloodline must endure. madden rotom, father to the rotom family and founder of rotom corp, a withered corpse powered by the allegiance with the fibre legion so he may live the rest of his scorned life bed bound and fighting for the capital of the company to endure. he spent his living days under the valanosian’s best days and it’s submerging hours of chaos and corruption. the ties this figure had with valanosian government officials were staggering, a rather charasmatic chameleon with the mind of a boffin. such academia would lend him a great throne on nostradore, an island he would purchase from auction through wire taps and deals with valanosian officials. it is the fibre legion that persuaded him not with architecture, not with technology, but eternal living. such as his body would later succumb to an almost tragic demise, later revived by the cultits of technological prowess.
a man known for his elequance in traditional media, he would study and play on the minds of all valanosians during the days of volatigital, and their undying crave for vengenace upon those who corrupted them. he would perform many a subject interrogation before opening the doors to an olympia filled with killing games, fueled with his ties to the fibre legion and lead the shepard and his champions into glorious imperial domination.
